Legend Al-Qali™

Legend Al-Qali™ is a zero phosphate buffer to raise pH and alkalinity (KH) and buffer with Legend Saleratus™ These buffers are designed for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae or cloudiness problem. Legend Al-Qali™ increases the pH value to a maximum of 8.5. It is gentle, safe, and enhances the freshwater environment.

To increase pH, use 1 scoop (1 teaspoon) (5mL) for every 80L daily until the desired pH is reached (this dose raises alkalinity by about 0.7 meq/L (2 dKH)).

To adjust pH gradually, use Legend Al-Qali™ with Legend Saleratus™. When using Alkaline Legend Al-Qali™ & Legend Saleratus™ together to target a specific pH, utilize the suggested ratio chart.

Direction:

First, determine the amount of Legend Al-Qali™ needed for the volume of water. This should be determined based on your desired alkalinity (KH). Then, divide by the number in the middle column to obtain the correct amount of Legend Saleratus™ required.

This is based on use in RO or RO/DI water and ratios may need to be adjusted for use in tap water.

Dosage: 5mL (1 teaspoon) Legend Al-Qali™  for every 80L daily,  5mL of Legend Al-Qali™ will raise the KH by 2 dKh hardness.

For an established aquarium, remember to take this slowly as fish are very sensitive to pH changes.

Adding Legend Al-Qali™ will raise the pH, but remember that this will need to be constantly added (you cannot just add it once and forget about it). You also need to be careful not to add too much at one time and cause a severe spike as this could kill your fish. It is best to gradually adjust the pH if you decide it must be adjusted.

Dosage: 1.5g (1/4 teaspoon) of Legend Al-Qali™ for every 25L of water daily.

Direction:

Dissolve 1.5g (1/4 teaspoon) of Legend Al-Qali™ in 100mL of water, adding it gently to the high flow area

Each Legend® product comes with a measuring cup (10mL) or measuring spoon (5mL)

Storage: at room temperature. Protect from frost and heat. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Use: For fertilization of ornamental plants in an aquarium only.
